The Circle of Friends Adult Day Center is for adults over the age of 18 who need:
  • Socialization opportunities
  • Assistance with daily living tasks
  • Supervision
  • Medical Monitoring
  • Memory Treatment

Circle of Friends Adult Day Center is for caregivers who need:

  • Personal Time
  • Support groups and counseling
  • Community geriatric referrals
  • Lending Library
  • Alternatives to delay institutionalization of a loved one

 The co-directors of the program are Kathy Rhoads and Carol Acord. Each has a Master's Degree in Social Work with Certification in Gerontology. They are both members of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.  Between them, they have over 40 combined years of experience in Geriatric Care.

 Circle of Friends is a location for an Alzheimer affiliated support group.  The support group meets the third Wednesday of the month between 12:00pm-to 1:00pm.  All interested caregivers are welcome. For more information about Alzheimer Disease contact www.alzheimers-illinois.org
